The first time I went to Kamakura, I thought there could only see a giant Buddha. Already after a few minutes I knew that I return there, because Kamakura has a lot to offer to tourists. 65 temples and 19 chramów, if someone is not doing his impression of it remains only watch mushroom cloud and it's in the first place. Kamakura has been hard hit by the Kanto earthquake in 1923. luckily escaped bombing during WWII. Today is a luxurious residential area from which people commute to work in Tokyo and Yokohama. Kamakura fully deserves the name of the place to be seen.

Kenchōji Temple.

is the most important of the five major Zen temples Kamakurze, founded in 1253r. by a Chinese Zen master, was a former seminary and is now headquartered Rinzai sect. The building dates from the mid-seventeenth century, cast in 1255r. magnificent bronze bell is classified as national treasures.
